2024 GED Graduate, Sarah!
“ Not having a GED was a challenge because jobs need you to have a GED or High school diploma, and it made me feel low about myself. Tutoring helped me get through all the ups and downs with getting a GED. Without the support, I would still not have my GED. I feel like I can advance and have a career. My advice to other GED students is to not lose hope and get discouraged. It gets hard sometimes but it is worth it in the end.” -Sarah
2024 GED Graduate, Zac!
“ The Math was hard but the process was smooth and the experience was great. It was helpful. I felt my life was okay before my GED, but I knew it could be better. I wanted to get my GED because I wanted more opportunities for my life. I feel proud of myself for getting my GED especially after I passed the Math. It was a lot when I realized I did it. I would tell GED students is to listen carefully and be patient. You can’t come in with the mindset that you know it all. Learning is a process.” -Zac
2024 GED Graduate, Crystal!
“I felt that my life lacked opportunity, but I wanted to have an education for myself. The tutoring experience was wonderful and helpful. I would recommend it. I feel more accomplished now having gotten my GED. I would say to GED students that Even if you feel like freaking out or that you can’t do it, don’t give up and keep going. It is worth it and there is help available.” -Crystal
