About the event
The Family Literacy Center's Child Tutoring Program for students in grades 1st through 4th who need help in reading and/or math. Students receive one-to-one instruction from trained volunteer tutors through engaging learning games, reading practice, and skill-focused activities. The program is designed to build both academic skills and confidence in a supportive environment. At the orientation, you will learn more about child tutoring and be prepared for the start of the program.
Caregivers and students will need to attend the Parent/Child Orientation at FLC, 311 Higgins St, Lapeer, MI 48446 on September 29 at 5:00pm.
