Family Literacy Center’s Child Tutoring Program Supports Early Learners in Reading and Math
The Family Literacy Center's Child Tutoring Program for students in grades 1st through 4th who need help in reading and/or math. Students receive one-to-one instruction from trained volunteer tutors through engaging learning games, reading practice, and skill-focused activities. The program is designed to build both academic skills and confidence in a supportive environment.
Sessions are held on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30pm at the Marguerite deAngeli Library at 921 W. Nepessing St, Lapeer, MI 48446. The Fall Session schedule is as follows:
October 6, 13, 20, November 3, 10, and 17.
Caregivers and students will need to attend the Parent/Child Orientation at FLC, 311 Higgins St, Lapeer, MI 48446 on September 29 at 5:00pm.
