 We are so happy you’re interested in getting involved with our work here at the Family Literacy Center. There are so many ways for you to help, and we truly appreciate each and every effort. By lending your support, you’ll become a valuable part of our Non-Profit Organization and help to strengthen our programs. 

 

The first step to becoming a one of our volunteer is filling out our volunteer packet.

Volunteer Opportunities
  1. Become a trained tutor for a child or an adult
  2. Weed flower beds - Garden Official
  3. Paint , repair, maintenance projects at our building - Handy Person or People
  4. Clean the office
  5. Helping coordinate volunteer activities
  6. Distributing flyers and other promotional materials
  7. Help with family programs
  8. Take photos or videos for marketing
  9. Write, edit, or proofread publications
  10. Help with mailings and copies
  11. Help to develop marketing strategies
  12. Web page, social media, or technical computer help
  13. Plow, and salt parking lot. Shovel sidewalks (winter)
  14. Make calls to students, answer phone in office, file, shred, etc.
